Who we are

RVTripConnect is a personally funded community platform for RV travelers to share plans, find travel mates and co-organize trips and events. It is a free, passion project — there are no paid tiers and no short-term monetization plans.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and password.

Your profile includes the details you choose to provide: your handle or name, your rig type and specifications, your travel style and pace, your party size, and your approximate home base (the coordinates of your home base are rounded before storing so your exact home location is never kept).

When you use the community features we store the content you create: trips, stops and route plans, ideas, comments, event listings, RSVPs, photos you upload, and messages you send to connected members.

How your information is used

Your information is used only to run the service: to show your public profile to other members, to power discovery, trip planning, the idea wall and event listings, and to deliver messages between connected members.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising.

Public versus private information

Your public profile — your handle, rig specifications, travel style and any public photos — is visible to everyone, including visitors who are not signed in.

Your private details, photos, direct messages and check-ins are only visible to members you have accepted as connections.

Trips and events you mark as public can be viewed by other members; anything you mark private stays that way.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

See our Cookie policy for details.

Third-party services

The service relies on a small number of providers to operate: hosting and authentication (Lovable Cloud), map tiles (OpenStreetMap) for maps, a routing service for real driving distances, and Google Maps when you choose to open a route there.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, change your home base, or remove trips, ideas and events you have created at any time. You can also remove connections and messages on your side.

If you would like your account deleted entirely, contact the site owner and your account and associated data will be removed.
