Terms of service

What RVTripConnect is

RVTripConnect is a free, personally funded community platform for RV travelers. It helps members share travel plans, discover compatible travelers, propose trip ideas and organize trips and events together.

By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to register, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

You may use an anonymous handle instead of your real name. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you publish on your profile.

Acceptable use

Be a good member of the community. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate or spam other members, and do not post illegal content or content you do not have the right to share.

Do not misuse the service: no scraping, attempts to break sign-in or access other members' private information, or interference with how the site works.

The platform is a meeting place — it does not screen members, events, trips or meetups. Use your own judgment about who you travel with, follow your own safety practices, and remember that any plans you make are between you and the other members involved.

Events and trips

Events, trips and route plans are created by members like you. The person adding an event is responsible for its accuracy, including location, dates, fees and RV access — always confirm details with the host before you go.

The site's route suggestions, including AI-assisted stop suggestions and driving distances, are aids for planning only. Road conditions, RV park availability and closures change; verify before you travel.

Your content

You keep the rights to the content you post. By posting it, you grant the club a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display it as part of the service — for example, showing your trip in the public trip list if you marked it public.

Content you mark private (direct messages, private trips, check-ins, private photos) is shared only with the members you have accepted as connections.

Photos you upload must be yours to share. Photography from RV manufacturers, campgrounds or other people may not be used without their permission.

Fees

RVTripConnect is free to use. Event fees, RV park fees or other costs charged by third parties (hosts, campgrounds, venues) are arrangements between you and them.

No warranties

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. It is available while the project is personally maintained; there is no guaranteed uptime and no paid support.

Changes and termination

These terms may be updated as the service grows; material changes will be reflected on this page. You may stop using the service at any time, and accounts may be suspended for violations of these terms.
